Attendance held steady and students took seriously the challenge to do their best on the TAKS tests this week.

Results from the first administration of TAKS earlier this spring are extremely good. With a second administration, additional students will make the mark. Results from the reading and math tests taken earlier this year are as follows:

Due to limited space, graduation is a ticketed event. Seniors will each have at least 10 tickets for family and friends.

The CISD Board of Trustees approved revisions to the secondary dress code and also approved requiring standardized dress at both elementary schools for the 2008-09 school year.
