Charting the future of CISD
Community members and parents shared their ideas for improvements during four meetings held by Superintendent Charlie Alderman in November. They then met to develop a graduate profile, or determine what skills a Commerce ISD graduate should possess. Working with these groups, Alderman plans to develop a new mission statement and a vision after the first of the year. All of this lays the groundwork for a plan to focus on strengths and shore up weaknesses. Thanks to everyone to contributed their thoughts during the process.
