Willie Blow, President

Since 1999, Mr. Blow has served on the CISD Board of Trustees. He and his wife Paula have two children, both graduates of CHS. He is an engineer for L-3 Communications in Greenville.

Ted Oats, Vice President

Mr. Oats joined the Board May 2008. He is a retired airline pilot who is married to Ellen, a retired CISD teacher. Their two children attended Commerce schools.

Randy Starks, Secretary

Randy Starks was elected to the Board in 2009. He is a senior sales representative for Aptalis Pharmaceutical. He and his wife Karen have a son who is a 2011 graduate of Commerce High School.

Michael Beane

Mr. Beane was elected to the Board in 2013. He is a lifelong Commerce resident. He and his wife Wanda have two children in the district. He owns a local HVAC company.

Etta Herring

Ms. Herring was appointed to the Board in July 2012. She has three children who graduated from Commerce schools and she works at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Greenville.

Kathleen Hooten

Ms. Hooten was elected to the Board in 2013. She and her husband Greg have one son who will attend Commerce High School in the fall. Ms. Hooten is an educator and she serves on several Boards of Directors including Northeast Texas Children's Museum. She runs the day to day operation of the family ranch.

Gabe Wittkopf

Gabe Wittkopf was elected to the CISD Board of Trustees in May 2010. Gabe and his wife Alicia have two children who are students in the District. He is a firefighter for the City of Commerce.
