Commerce ISD students and staff were recognized at the annual Ray and Patricia Keck Education Awards Ceremony held on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce February 26.
The program was sponsored by the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Students recognized from Commerce Elementary were Briseis Branom, Jamie Brockway, Yahir Gabarrete, Laurann Burrell and Aiden Allen.
A. C. Williams Elementary School honorees included Joanna Charland, Aden Eacret, Shiloh Cameron, Manson Salas Newman, Chae-un Lee, Maribellas Regodon, Reiley Gorse, Danielle Martin, Aubrey Tipson, Gael Garcia, Jamie Kral, Makayla Booth, Zachary Pittman, Nora Flores and Peter Tang.
Representing Commerce Middle School were Olivia Veraska, Jude Scarcelli, Ian Maldondo, Catherine Jones, Colton Kral, Nora Shields, Curyssa Williams, Tyler White, Trinity McCelrath, Garrett Chaney, D'Andre Harrison, Isaiah Branch, Camille Ebron, Megan Jones and Ryan Huynh.
Commerce High School honorees included Savannah Shaw, Ty Meyers, Sammy Brown, Evan Humphries, Breann Mulcahy, Mckynna Swinson, Sarah Anthraper, Casey Shields, Dodge Brown, Kyra Stuckmeyer, Brooklyn Talley, Ernesto Baldarama, Jackson Smith, Nolan Myers, Jacee Buchanan, Riley Davidson, Mikayla Pickle, Madison Shaw, Claire Dobbs and Bradyn Lopez.
Educators honored were Stefanie Spinks, Dee Dee Harris, Lauren McPherson, Latisha Britton, Julie McLeroy, Jackie McMinn, Kim Bruister, Julie Brown, Michelle Martinez, Earvin Larry, Christi Coplin, Matthew Brewer, Wanda Beane, Tina Bronson, Shenequa Miller and Steve Drummond.
In partnership with families and community, CISD will provide all students an exemplary education, preparing them to be successful, productive citizens.
