ACW students in Mrs. Plunkett's art class had a contest to see who could build the tallest tower using only cards and tape in 10 minutes. It had to stand without falling for a least a minute.

School starts Tuesday, August 13
Registration for the 19-20 school will continue at each school. Even if children attended school at CISD last year, parents should visit a school to confirm contact information or they should complete the online registration.
For your child to receive transportation on the first day of school, he or she must be registered by noon August 2. Any student registered after that time will not receive transportation until Monday, August 19.
Commerce ISD employees gathered at Texas A & M University-Commerce Sam Ray Memorial Student Center for the annual kick off to the new year on August 6. Teachers and staff were welcomed by President Mark Rudin who shared the four pillars for the university's strategic plan. The group was entertained by Steve Knagg, former director of communications for Garland ISD.
Analyzing the Graduate Profile, administrators led teachers in discussion on various traits a CISD graduate needs to possess.
