The Commerce ISD Communications Department serves to promote all aspects of the district, students and staff. Through open communications, we hope to build great relationships with parents and the community while supporting the mission of Commerce ISD.

Emergency Communications

In the event of severe weather or situation requiring immediate notification to parents, the Communications Department will work with and support campuses to quickly disseminate information. Depending on the nature of the event, we will utilize one or more of these tools: social media, district website, parent phone calls or texts via Parent Square, parent emails, and local news outlets. Parents are encouraged to notify their child’s school if phone numbers or email addresses are changed during the year.

Parent Square

Commerce ISD uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
