Auxiliary Staff

Applicants must possess the ability to obtain CDL plus passenger and school bus endorsement. CISD pays all fees to obtain license. Substitute Teachers
Applicants interested in substitute teaching should apply online. Please click "APPLY ONLINE HERE" above.
Certified teacher substitutes make $90/day. Individuals with at least 60 college hours earn $80/day and high school graduates earn $70/day. Documentation in the form of a transcript must be presented to receive higher pay. Candidates must attend an orientation before being allowed to substitute. Substitutes are also required to submit digital fingerprints. The cost to the substitute is approximately $50.
