Certified and Classified Staff

Auxiliary Staff

Applicants for auxiliary positions such as bus drivers and maintenance workers should apply on Teacher Job Network using the link above. Applicants must possess the ability to obtain CDL plus passenger and school bus endorsement. CISD pays all fees to obtain license. Insurance available. $20/hour minimum starting salary commensurate with experience. Bus monitor positions are also available.. 

Food Service workers: Chartwells K-12 School Dining is Hiring Part time or Variable Hour Food Service Workers, Cooking/Kitchen Experience Preferred, $50 Background Check required if hired. Please apply online at www.indeed.com.

Substitute Teachers

Applicants interested in substitute teaching should apply online. Please click "APPLY ONLINE HERE" above.

Certified teacher substitutes make $90/day. Individuals with at least 60 college hours earn $80/day and high school graduates earn $70/day. Documentation in the form of a transcript must be presented to receive higher pay. Candidates must attend an orientation before being allowed to substitute. Substitutes are also required to submit digital fingerprints. The cost to the substitute is approximately $50.
