Four inducted into CISD Hall of Honor

Commerce ISD inducted four former students into its Hall of Honor during an induction ceremony and luncheon September 7 at the CISD Administration Building. The honorees addressed approximately 90 friends, family and colleagues and were presented a plaque and blanket commemorating the event by CISD Superintendent Charlie Alderman. Inductees included Chris Elliott, a 1980 graduate, who is now shareholder in the Austin law firm of Graves, Dougherty, Hearon & Moody, PC; Harry Turner, a 1964 Norris School graduate, a community leader and former L-3 employee; Scott Williams, a 1991 graduate, currently Managing Director, Corporate Communications, Goldman Sachs, Greater New York City area; and Wyman Williams, 1965 CHS graduate, Commerce mayor and Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement.
