iPads arrive at CMS
CMS teachers and students excitedly welcomed ten iPads to campus. The cutting-edge technology will be used to inspire, motivate and support students in reading, according to teacher Sherry Rector.

Books can be downloaded directly on the iPads for reading classes. Vocabulary and spelling applications will support students' reading and writing skills. Games will also be available for students to practice reading skills and support their becoming proficient readers. Rector says that integration of this type of technology into the curriculum will make a difference for many of our readers and create possibilities that are almost limitless.

Funding for the iPads was provided by a grant from the Commerce Schools Educational Enrichment Foundation.
